Regal Golf Corporation, one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of golf equipment in Europe, has changed hands.
Oxygen Investments and Management Ltd has sold its interest in the firm to Regal's managing director Trevor Walker along with Ron Wood and David Lloyd of Combined Genetics.
Oxygen, a private equity and business development group, was formed in Bradford four years ago and developed Regal by merging golf businesses.
Owned by Ernest Smith, Yuseph Hedar and Phil Bailey, the firm still owns shares in the company but will concentrate on a communication business.
Mr Hedar added: "In an indus-try that has had to overcome some adverse trading condi-tions during the past two years, Regal has weathered the storm and is poised to vigorously attack the market."
