Having been beaten last weekend by leaders Darling-ton Mowden Park, the Bees return to Wagon Lane tomorrow to face bottom-of-the-table Northern.

"We were disappointed to lose against Park," said skipper Howard Greenwood.

"We performed extremely well, took the game to them and defended well.

"But mistakes cost us. They said we were one of the best sides they have played all season, and we must keep that intensity and commitment against Northern.

"If we win all of our remaining league games, or at least four out of five, we can finish third or fourth."

Injury doubts mean the Bees have named a squad of 18, but definitely out is prop Roger Raper.

"He damaged knee ligaments last weekend and will be out for four to six weeks minimum," said Bees coach Matt Green-wood.

There will be an under-12 curtain-raiser, weather permitting, between the Bees and Darlington Mowden Park at 2pm.

Although spectators have been asked to share transport and not park on The Avenue, permission has been granted by the RFU and MAFF for Wharfedale's home match against promotion-chasing Rosslyn Park to go ahead.

The Dalesmen make one change for this National League Two match, Neil Dickinson starting at prop as Craig Ingram is not available.

Otley, whose National League One match at Moseley was postponed last Saturday, are back there again tomorrow.

Simon Smith replaces Sam Gardner on the right wing, Peter Curtis returning to the bench on the return of No 8 Jon Burke.

Cleckheaton only need one more victory to clinch the Yorkshire Division One title, and aim to do the business tomorrow at Pontefract.

There have been casualties from last weekend's Inter-mediate Cup semi-final defeat at Old Patesians, notably scrum half Gary Smith.

He drops to the bench and is replaced by former Rotherham player Darren McIntyre.

Skipper John Bentley is absent with a calf strain, Wesley O'Callaghan replacing him, and Graham Steadman - unavailable last week - returns at fly half in place of Phil Veivers.

Hooker Simon Wragg has an ankle strain, his place going to Steve Worsley, who was cup-tied having played earlier for Sedgley Park.

Flanker Darren Fletcher could not play as he had sat on the bench for Wakefield in a Tetley's Bitter Cup tie earlier in the season. He comes in for Matt Wood, who moves into the second row in place of Julian Brooksbank, who was sent off last weekend.

Ricky Hunter replaces Sam Coy (rib injury) at prop, and Matt Terry comes into the back row in place of Neil Gillan, who drops to the bench.

Baildon again include the versatile Nick Crooks - brother of Richard - for their York-shire Division Four match at Hessle, postponed from October 14 because the referee failed to turn up.
