BBC weatherman Paul Hudson - who was born and brought up in Keighley - voted the film a big hit.
He said: "I didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. I'm sure it's going to be a big hit and it's going to put Keighley on the map."
Keighley MP Ann Cryer was less impressed. She said: "It was good at the beginning and the end but went a bit flat in the middle.
"Keighley is a much grander place than it was portrayed. I am very fond of Keighley so I'm biased. I did enjoy it, but they should have made it here."
