New Inn Windhill move into second place in the First Division after a fine display.

In bad conditions the game was well refereed by Mr Gary Nutter and Windhill have top goal scorer Andrew Howland to thank, along with man of the match Wayne Birsall, who scored four, with Howland getting the other three. Both sides were depleted due to work commitments and injuries so Windhill secretary S Scanlan answered an SOS and pulled on his boots for the first time in 27 years in this league at the ripe old age of 43 years young.

Peter Rookes, Leighton Shackleton and Mark Dobson netted one each for JPL Victoria who were just out gunned on the day by a much in-form Windhill side.

Elsewhere in the division saw a draw between Broadford Plant and Baildon New Inn. In an upside down type of game. Dominic Fritzgerald and Danny Burke gave Plant a 2-0 lead but New Inn hit back and lead by half-time by 3-2.

In the second half Plant went on the attack and Allan Miller and Ali Faisal restored their lead and with ten minutes left New Inn levelled in a game where both sides were even and a draw was a fair result.

In the premier division leaders Stanbury Park Rangers ran away with their game against basement side Regent Victoria by 22-0.

Boltmakers Arms went down at home to Victoria 2000. Victoria took a 3-0 lead before Boltmakers pulled two back through Cameron Farnall but try as they did they could not find that important third to level the game.
