Challenge Cup semi-final places are on the line as the Bulls bid to make it six of the best at Huddersfield Giants tomorrow

And two players desperate to stake their claims are Leon Pryce and Lee Radford who impressed with the Alliance side last week.

They will be hoping to break into a side which have won their opening five league and cup games in impressive style.

Doubts about the fitness of loose forward Mike Forshaw and centre Scott Naylor - who have both been under treatment for injuries this week - might give them the chance they need although Forshaw and Naylor have been included in the Bulls' squad.

Coach Brian Noble insists the line-up to face Warrington Wolves on the same ground next Sunday is not set in stone.

That means there is plenty of incentive for all members of his squad to catch his eye.

"I will pick the best 17 available and tomorrow's game will have a big bearing on that," said Noble who has still to decide on his side to face the Giants.

Noble will not finalise his plans until after an extra training session today forced by Thursday's snow which forced the postponement of the Alliance match with the Giants.

"There was little we could do on Thursday but we trained well earlier in the week and have got something in the bank. We just need today's session to top up."

Hooker James Lowes believes it will be an advantage to familiarise themselves with the McAlpine before the semi-final.

"It will be a help, not that we can take Huddersfield as a run-out." he said.

"They have brought in some good players and are putting together a useful side.

"We are professional enough to realise that we don't want to be going into the semi-final on the back of a defeat, so we will be looking to work hard and get the victory."

Giants coach Tony Smith will wait until an hour before kick-off before naming his side.

All 17 players who performed heroically in defeat at St Helens last week have been declared fit and Aussie back Graham Appo is ready to return after recovering from a badly broken nose.

Smith is in no doubt about the size of the challenge: "Bradford are a stronger side than St Helens across the board and they do boast better form going into this match.

"They are not only strong and powerful, but also have a considerable amount of skill, and credit for that has to go to Brian Noble." New signing Brad Mackay is pictured centre with some of his new Bulls colleagues at Odsal yesterday. Nathan McAvoy, Scott Naylor, Daniel Gartner and Shane Rigon were keen to

welcome him. Mackay will join the club officially on May 1 after completing his contract with Leeds Tykes Rugby Union club
