The Bradford Sunday Senior Cup final will be between holders Albion Sports and East Bowling Unity after Albion came through a hard-fought 3-2 affair with Westwood and East Bowling made a second half comeback to beat Bolton Woods 2-1.

First Division Westwood proved that their earlier defeat of Oakenshaw in the quarter-final was no fluke as they cancelled out two Stefan Zoll strikes through John Penn and Mark Gallon. Albion midfielder Amjad Iqbal hit the winner after 75 minutes.

With a side weakened through injuries and the five-match qualifying rule, Bolton Woods failed to beat EBU in semi-final action for the second week running despite going into a half-time lead through Andy Carlton.

Unity equalised when Unity players in a free kick wall created a gap for Peter Craven and Ryan Senior kept Unity's four-trophy haul alive coming off the subs bench to hit the winner.

In the Premier Division Andy Atkinson was given the chance of first team sub after a host of goals in Queensbury's Reserves and the youngster came on to clinch a point in the 1-1 draw with Oakenshaw. Equally impressive was 17-year-old keeper Aaron Ryan who was earlier beaten by Paul Smith from the edge of the box.

Chris Peltier returned to Bradford Moor's colours after a lengthy absence and was on target in a 3-1 win over Ventus.

Two down in five minutes, Stanley Road recovered through Steve Crawford goals to level before half-time. In the second half Road secured vital points in a 5-3 win.

East Ward, needing maximum points to keep their promotion hopes alive, produced the Division One result of the day. After being 1-0 down at half-time they put away four second half chances to send leaders Fairweather Green to only their second defeat of the season.

Wrose Bull made a big promotion stride when they halted Pudsey Royal's challenge by 6-1. Darren Thornton hit three and there was also a goal for newcomer Steve Howley.

With their own pitch waterlogged, Dudley Hill Rangers switched their fixture to Apperley Bridge and cruised home 4-1 against Springfield, Craig Brown completing a hat-trick.

In what could turn out to be the championship decider in Division 1A, West Bowling beat nearest challengers Malta Court 2-0. After an even first half they recovered their early season form and went in front when Simon Pearmain headed in Darren Storey's cross. Chris Wood secured maximum points when he produced a second goal after 80 minutes.

Quarry's end of season surge continues, player-manager Barry Peacock sealing a 3-1 win over Baildon Trinity with his side's final goal.

St Pat's tuned up for a crucial game at Queens on Thursday by despatching Wrose Albion 11-2 in Division 1B, with Phil Henderson, Peter Ramsden and manager Andy Hindle hitting hat-tricks.

Double-chasing Queens with useful contributions from defensive pairing Phil Brown and Joel Warden were 3-1 winners at Calverley Victoria.

After beating Royal Clayton the previous week, Woodman succumbed 2-1 in the return. Pat Hollinger scoring.
