Doomed Bradford City have promised business as usual against Champions League-chasing Liverpool tomorrow night.

The Bantams became the first side to be relegated from the Premiership when they went down 2-1 at Everton on Saturday.

But boss Jim Jefferies has pledged there will be no easing off in the remaining four games, starting with the sell-out clash with the FA Cup and UEFA Cup finalists at Valley Parade.

He said: "Saturday was a bad day for Bradford what with our result and the Bulls losing the rugby final so we'll just have to try to put it right against the mighty Liverpool.

"We'll go out and show the same commitment, play the same way we have been and you can't ask any more.

"We've still got a target to finish off the bottom of the league. Nobody likes to be last so there is plenty to play for and we want three points against Liverpool.

"There are some good types in the dressing room and a lot of pride and everyone will want to go out and give it their best shot between now and the end of the season. I'm not worried on that score.

"We aren't relieved that it's been decided because we would like to have kept it going as long as possible. But it was inevitable.

"We've known for a while it was going to be hard so we've had to make decisions regarding that and preparing ourselves so that when we do go down we are in the right shape to do well.

"I've got a squad of players working hard for each other and if we keep that together and add the right people in the summer to strengthen, then we will be one of the sides good enough to have a real go at coming back up next season."
