Detectives today appealed for the public's help in tracing an attacker who indecently assaulted a woman in Thackley.
Officers said the incident occurred in the Leeds Road area, close to Crooked Lane, at around 8.30pm yesterday.
A police spokesman said the suspect had been hanging around in the Leeds Road area beforehand and is thought to have fled into fields behind houses there after the attack. He is then believed to have returned to Leeds Road and made off towards Shipley.
The spokesman said the attacker is thought to live locally and appealed for anyone who saw him or recognised his description to contact them.
Today the woman involved was said to be "extremely upset" and receiving support from specialist police officers. She was not physically injured.
The attacker was described as white, in his early twenties, of average build and between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 10ins
He was clean shaven, had short to medium length blond hair and wore white trainers, dark blue jeans and a blue, waist-length jacket.
Anyone with information should contact Detective Sergeant John Mountain at Bradford North CID on (01274) 376059.
