Bulls coach Brian Noble is fac-ing up to his first real injury crisis of the season as they pre-pare for Friday night's top-four tussle with revitalised Hull.

Daniel Gartner, Michael Withers, Stuart Fielden and Shane Rigon have joined Mike Forshaw on the treatment table after Friday night's high speed collision with Wigan Warriors at the JJB Stadium.

"Danny is really struggling for Friday at the moment but wouldn't you be after Paul An-derson fell on your neck?" ex-plained Noble. "They both went in for a tackle and Paul fell into him. It was one of those things."

Withers (groin) and Fielden (ankle) were both unable to train yesterday while Rigon is also struggling with a sore groin.

"We started the season with a few injuries and had just about got a full compliment back. But we are starting to pick up some knocks now and with tough games right through to the end of the season I can't see the po-sition easing much between now and the end of the season.

"That is why we have such a big squad and I also have the opportunity to bring back Paul Sykes, Rob Parker and Simon Lewis from their loan deals if the position worsens.

"We will see who things look later in the week but with play-ers like Nathan McAvoy and Scott Naylor waiting in the wings I'm not too concerned."

Better news for Noble is that Mike Forshaw was back in full training yesterday after miss-ing the last two games with a hand injury.

"He's still got some improve-ment in him and we don't want top run the risk of worsening the problem by bringing him back too early."

Noble acknowledges that Hull will provide a stern test for the Bulls' 100 per cent record at Valley Parade.

He said: "They played very well in beating St Helens at the weekend and it's important we get back on track after the defeat at Wigan. All the ingredients are in place."
