One of the oldest women in the country has died at a Guiseley nursing home aged 109.
Florence Rawlings, above, who married in 1912, the year the Titanic sank, died at Ghyll Royd Nursing Home on Saturday.
A Ghyll Royd spokesman said Mrs Rawlings was thought to be the second oldest woman in the country.
Mrs Rawlings was born in Middlesex, and moved to Yorkshire aged 91 with her son, Norman, and daughter-in-law, with whom she lived until 1997.
She had seven children, 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
When she celebrated her 108th birthday last year she told the Telegraph & Argus she could still remember Queen Victoria travelling through her village in a horse drawn carriage.
She was born the year poet laureate Alfred Lord Tennyson died and William Gladstone formed his fourth Liberal Government, and the year Tchaikovsky's ballet The Nutcracker was performed for the first time.
