A pensioner suffered a 90-minute ordeal after being taken hostage in her own car.
The 68-year-old woman was forced to drive around Bradford after a man got into her P-registered metallic green Vauxhall Tigra as she was about to leave a retail park.
The ordeal began at 4.30pm last Monday in the car park of Focus DIY on Valley Road, Bradford, when the man threatened her. At about 5.30pm she was forced to drive along Valley Rd to the junction with Queen's Rd and park on North Avenue, where she saw two young teenagers near a telephone box.
The man eventually got out in the car park of the Horse and Farrier pub in Kings Road at 6pm.
The woman suffered minor injuries and was extremely shaken, said a police spokesman.
The suspect is described as aged about 45, 5ft 10ins, slim, with a mousey coloured beard and shoulder length hair which was swept back from the front and slightly receding.
