KARATE champions have kept the eyes of the martial arts world on Silsden.
Cain Canning, Paul Newby and Craig Burke swept all before them during an incredible 2001 season, and this month are due to represent England at a competition in Paris.
The trio won the English Team Championship and also won a number of individual titles before winning the British team event.
"It was particularly enjoyable because we are all from one little club and most other teams are top athletes who are brought together just for the events," Paul Newby said.
