Aireborough Olympic Gymnastic Club is holding a display to commemorate its 25th anniversary.

Over 100 gymnasts, girls and boys aged between 5 and 18, will be performing floor, beam, vault, trampette and tumble routines.

Anyone can come and watch, in particular we would love to see former gymnasts and coaches who have been part of the club in previous years.

The display will be held in Benton Park School hall, Rawdon, on Saturday, March 2, from 7pm and Sunday, March 3, from 3pm. For more information call Joanne Tooley on 07930 160996.

The club has over 100 children training between once and three times a week.

About 90 per cent of the club's coaches are the club's former gymnasts or interested parents who have come on board whilst their child was training. Joanne has been there 20 years.

She said: "We have had national and county gymnasts over the years and we have waiting lists for every training session."
