PRIMARY school children are preparing for their own Mini-Commonwealth Games, which will be part of Keighley Festival.
Students from Oakbank Sports College are organising the event, and will be giving junior school pupils special coaching in the run-up to the games in June.
Lauren Bates, Ben Uttley, Sally Jackson and Rachel Butterfield are organising the event. This week representatives of the schools took part in a draw, left, to select the country they will represent in the games.
The event will be one of the highlights of Keighley's SportKarnival with the children competing in front of a large crowd.
Organisers als also looking for sponsors to back the event. Contact Matt Barratt at Oakbank on 01535-210111.
