Bradford College undergraduates donned full legal regalia in a contest to find their best advocate.
Students at Bradford Law School approached their lecturer Darran Chapple to organise a Mooting Competition.
It went ahead in the historic former court inside City Hall.
"A mooting competition is a contest where students act as advocates in a mock courtroom situation and argue points of law before a judge," Mr Chapple said. "Entry was totally voluntary, as it did not form part of students' courses."
He added: "This competition has been a great success as the students have been exceptional, and gained invaluable experience."
The Bradford Law School will now field contestants in national mooting competitions. Pictured are Law school students Shabab Hussain, Samantha Crompton, Fiona Brandt and Sumbul Khan.
