THE Wharfedale Triangle League programme was again hit by bad weather conditions with a number of matches postponed.

In the Premier Division Rawdon improved their league position when they travelled to Horsforth Rangers.

They gained a 3-0 win with a superb strike from David Machell and a double from David Gilks.

Horsforth Fairweather gained a 3-2 win at Station Wanderers with Martin Booth netting twice for the hosts while Steve Lane, Simon Parker and an own goal accounted for Horsforth's tally.

Ilkley Dynamo's game against Park Rangers and Keighley Athletic's game against New Rover fell victim to waterlogged pitches.

In Division One Shipley Town beat Crown Celtic 6-3 with Dave French grabbing a hat-trick, Steve Vincent netting a double and Andy Ives finding the target. Gary Smith netted a hat-trick for Crown.

The postponed games were Hawkhill v Yeadon Westfield, Milford v Otley Wharfeside, Olicanian Academicals v Menston, Yeadon Town v Wheatley.
