Nosebone is no more - but it's not the end of the story for guitarist Joey McEvoy, bassist Joe Tilston and drummer Robin Leitch.

Joey and Joe are preparing a band under the working title "Project Elvis" with moonlighting Circus? member Toby.

Robin is playing in ska band Flukeshot Frenzy which is preparing for a gig with Breene on March 22 at Bradford's 1 in 12 Club.

And the website set up by Nosebone as a forum for all local bands and musicians is going from strength to strength.

Circus, Flukeshot, Fat Priest, Deepfill, Breene and Theory of X are among the bands who get their own page on the site.

The site - www.noseboard.tk - not only gives fans information but allows musicians to chat and plan joint gigs.

One such is at Holden Hall in April, where a Leicester outfit will make its local debut alongside local band Deepfill.

Others are likely to be an evening gig at Bradford's Escape club featuring all the Noseboard acts, and a summer concert in Haworth.

Meanwhile Joey and Joe have formed Oddclock Productions with the aim of developing their own studio for local bands.

Joe invites all other musicians - not just from Keighley, but across West Yorkshire - to log on to the website and get their own section.

Mainstream modern jazz is the sound to be found at Cullingworth Conservative Club every Wednesday.

The Mike Wilson Trio begins its weekly residency at the Station Road club and will have guest musicians and singers each week.

Admission is free to the 8.30pm session, and musicians can take along their own instruments and join in.

Feel the need for hard-edged 60s covers? Then get along to the Three Horses, Fell Lane, tomorrow to hear The Big Bang.

Sambuca takes its popular selection of modern pop songs to Churchill's, North Street, tonight.

The line-up for a gig at Keighley's Victoria Hotel on Saturday March 9 has changed. Fat Priest will now be supporting Circus? from 9pm.

Two Timers perform their rhythm 'n' blues tomorrow at Haworth Parkside Social Club, formerly the British Legion. Phone 01535 642566 to book.
