The Edge of Darkness is described as "a good old-fashioned mystery" from the pen of Brian Clements.

It sets a series of questions in the audience's heads and answers them over the next couple of hours.

Why does a seemingly decent couple claim a girl with amnesia is their daughter?

Why and how does this young girl know a mysterious Russian? And what part does an over-curious handyman play?

Keighley Playhouse veteran Michael Kennedy produces the play, which is staged from Monday to Saturday, March 9 at 7.30pm.

Book tickets at Keighley Information Centre in the town hall or phone 01535 645140.

Stepping back to Keighley from the "other side" tonight comes clairvoyant Stephen Holbrook.

The popular medium appears at Victoria Hall at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £7 on the door.

Families can "have a go" when the Rocky Roadshow comes to Craven Museum, in Skipton Town Hall, next Saturday.

Children can look at fossils, test minerals or take along a shoebox and create a Jurassic forest.

The free activities are from 10.30am-4pm on March 9, to celebrate National Science Week.
