A Bradford City fan has vowed not to take her sick father to a game again after their car was broken into during the match on Tuesday night.

Elizabeth Allwood, 44, of Wilsden, returned to her car on Clifton Street, Manning-ham, after the Nottingham Forest game to find a window smashed and a number of items were taken from the car.

Mrs Allwood's father, Jason Kavanagh, 67, had a heart by-pass operation at Christmas and the Nottingham Forest match was the first game he had seen since then.

Mrs Allwood, 44, said: "We went together to the game and watching Bradford is the only thing he has got at the moment and this is the first time he has been out really.

"But he has been scared off after last night. My Dad had to sit on broken glass on the way home. It's disgusting."
