Lee Radford today threatened that somebody is going to get a "walloping" if the Bulls hit form.

And the Yorkshire and England second row believes his old team-mates at Hull could be the ones to get it.

"We only played to 40 per cent of our potential against Widnes," said Radford, nicknamed Judge by his team-mates, because "he is always on the bench".

"Our pride was heavily dented by losing to Leeds and against Warrington it wasn't our best performance either. Sooner or later everything is going to click, and somebody is going to get a right walloping.

"With the players we have here, we are an awesome team on our day, maybe it will happen against Hull".

Many of the visiting team were part of the Academy side that Radford developed in during his four years in Humberside.

All friendships will be put on the backburner for 80 minutes as the Bulls look to continue their 100 per cent record in Super League Hea7en - and give the fans something to shout about.

Injuries remain a problem ahead of Thursday's game with Withers and Gartner out and Deacon and the Volcano, desperate for a return, doubtful.

"We do have a few knocks," added Radford, who celebrates his 23rd birthday today.

"But we have a strong squad here, and other players will step in and make their mark if they have to."
