A terrified woman handed over jewellery and her car keys after she was held up at gunpoint on a Bradford street.
The 23-year-old victim was in Thornton Road, Bradford, when she was targeted at about 8.25pm yesterday.
Detective Inspector Rob Sumner, of Bradford South CID, said: "The woman was approached by a suspect who lifted up his top to reveal a handgun. He added: "This was then placed against her temple while the demands were made."
After the man had grabbed the jewellery and car keys, the victim's car was stolen.
Det Insp Sumner said that anyone who witnessed the attack or who had information should contact Bradford South CID on (01274) 376459.
l At 3.25am today, armed police swooped at a house in Bradford and arrested a 32-year-old man in connection with the incident. Police also seized a number of weapons. He was being questioned by detectives today.
