Super League champions Bradford Bulls may have to find their third full back in as many matches tonight at home to Hull FC.

Michael Withers, who played at home to Warrington three weekends ago, has undergone surgery on his long-standing groin injury, and Paul Sykes - his stand-in last Sunday at Widnes - is doubtful with a sore knee.

The Bulls could also be missing Australian second rower Daniel Gartner (ribs), who left the field for the second successive match last weekend, and scrum half Paul Deacon, who suffered a hamstring injury in training six days ago and missed the win at the Halton Autoquest Stadium.

And if all this is not enough, utility back Leon Pryce does not finish his four-match suspension until Monday's clash at Wakefield.

But there is some potential good news. 'The Volcano' - winger Lesley Vainikolo, pictured - is likely to have recovered sufficiently from his torn hamstring to be on the bench.

"It's looking a bit like a M.A.S.H. unit at the moment, but we will just have to cope," said Bulls coach Brian Noble, who could well call on centre Lee Gilmour to fill the full back role.

Second-row Rob Parker and centre Alex Wilkinson are both poised to make their first appearances of the season as the Bulls seek to make it four wins out of four.
