Keighley Community Transport and Saferider received donations totalling almost £900.

The money was raised by the Holme Singers ladies choir from their annual carol concert and various events throughout last year by the small afternoon group.

Stephen Shorten of Keighley Community Transport said: "We are very grateful for the donation.

"Especially when you hear the stories going around of the government cutting funding to the voluntary sector.

"We are going to need every penny we can get."
