Keighley News readers are being asked to help trace the woman pictured in the front passenger seat of the car.
Her maiden name was believed to be Irene McKie, and it is understood she was married in Keighley.
Niece Valerie Owens said: "She came from Stockton-on-Tees, which was then in County Durham.
"We believe she was married in Keighley as we are in possession of a wedding photograph taken by Ewarts, of 105 Cavendish Street.
"I am the oldest daughter of Irene's younger brother John, and would love to hear from her or from any of the family."
Anyone with information is asked to write to Valerie at 17 Kinderton Grove, Norton, Stockton-on-Tees, Cleveland TS20 1QR.
