A Keighley school is set to sweeten the lives of Romanian orphans this spring.
The children of St Anne's School have collected almost 400 chocolate bars of all shapes and sizes to send to the children in Romania
Head of St Anne's Brigida Martino said: "The idea was for each child to bring in some chocolate.
"We have collected 395 bars in total."
Wagon driver Mick Brook was at the school to collect the chocolate, which he will deliver in April when he goes to see the orphans with much needed supplies.
He said: "They will love it!
"They don't get many luxuries and they always ask for chocolate.
"As soon as we jump out of the cab they are screaming for it."
Mr Brook will be in Romania for 16 days, to renovate a dental surgery which is involved with Grassington-based charity MESH (Medical, Educational, Social, Help).
It will be the 18th time Mr Brook has travelled to the country.
And, as thanks to the children for their donations, Mr Brook promised to go back to St Anne's on his return and tell the pupils about his travels.
