The Hitler Olympic Games collection of Keighley-born gymnast Marion Wharton has been sold for £2,000 to a private collector from north Leeds.
Mrs Wharton, who died in 1993, competed in the 1336 Berlin Olympics and had kept everything from her sporting career in pristine condition in a suitcase at her home in Pudsey.
The collection, from the Berlin games, included her British team blazer and tunic, a number of medals and trophies, and her Olympic identity card.
Following the death of her husband Kenneth in January, the suitcase was left to a neighbour, who was also present at the auction in Batley on Tuesday evening.
Auctioneer Dale Wood said: "The vendor was very pleased that it was bought by a private collector.
"She thought that's what Kenneth would have wanted."
"She was hoping that it would be all kept together, not go to a dealer and get split up."
