From the Telegraph & Argus of March 29th, 1977...Violent crime continues to grow in Bradford, it is revealed in the annual statistics of cases dealt with by the city's magistrates and presented to the justices today. Convictions for offences of violence, including murder, have risen sharply from 894 ten years ago to 1,857 last year. Over two-thirds of the increase has come in the last five years.

From the Telegraph & Argus of March 29th, 1952...Postal boundaries between Bradford and Shipley may be altered, according to proposals which the Bradford Head Postmaster submitted to Bradford Corporation. In the proposed alteration a few houses in Bradford would have a Shipley address, instead of a considerable number of Shipley houses having a Bradford address, as at present.
