Bradford Bulls loose forward Mike Forshaw believes Wigan's home defeat by Leeds last weekend will make tomorrow night's Grand Final re-match at Valley Parade even more difficult.

"Losing at home to Leeds puts a lot more pressure on Wigan", said the 31-year-old.

"They will be terribly disappointed with that result, and what better way to get back on track than by beating the Bulls at Bradford?

"That is what they will have been channelling all through their squad this week. Also Leeds have won at Valley Parade in the cup, so Wigan will have been telling themselves 'why can't we do it in the league?'

"If they can win at Bradford, then last week's defeat will all be forgotten, so it is really important that we put on a good performance.

"Also, it won't be lost on Wigan that we beat them in last season's Grand Final and in the first league match of this season at Wigan."

With prop Paul Anderson definitely out with a broken left arm, and centre Lee Gilmour (dislocated wrist) and winger Lesley Vainikolo (twisted ankle) major doubts, Forshaw thinks tomorrow will be a big test for the 17 picked by Bulls coach Brian Noble.

Forshaw added: "Last season we were very fortunate with injuries, but we are going to find out just how strong our squad is against a top side like Wigan.

"However, Wigan have had their injury problems as well so we can't dwell on that - there are no excuses there.

"Defensively we have been very strong, but we let in some soft tries against Halifax. We switched off for 20 minutes. When you play games against Wigan you know you have to be intense for the full 80 minutes."
