Win a special Golden Jubilee prize

Worth £500, the prize is a very special rare set of three fully hallmarked pin trays. One of the pin trays is pictured.

Remember, you can't buy this prize in the shops. The extraordinary thing about this prize is that two sheets of solid silver have been stored, one for 49 years, since the Queen's coronation and the other for 25 years in anticipation that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II would achieve her 50 years on the British throne.

Once a third sheet with this year's special mark for the Golden Jubilee had been struck, the three sheets were then made into matching pin trays.

These three exquisitely simple pin trays are displayed in a purpose made presentation case. The trays have been made out of sheets of precious sterling silver. Each pin tray has the normal set - the sponsor's mark, the assay office mark where the metal has been tested, the Standard Mark, the date mark and then the special commemorative marks.

For the Coronation Mark the Queen's head is displayed with the coronation crown. The Silver Jubilee Mark is the crowned Queen's head with a string of pearls around her neck. The Golden Jubilee Mark is the Queen's head with a tiara.

Once again the silver ingot is in fashion, both in one ounce and half ounce sizes.
