Paul Young came back to the limelight last year as part of an arena tour with fellow 80s popstars. Now he's back on the national circuit, playing venues including St George's Hall, Bradford, on June 12 at 7.30.

The singer whose hits include Love of the Common People, and Wherever I Lay My Hat will be supported by the band Los Pacaminos.

Petula Clark brings her national tour to St George's celebrating 60 years in the music industry, on June 14 at 7.30.

It's Des O'Connor's turn to take the stage on June 18 as part of a two-hour performance of music and comedy.

Less music but more laughs come from madcap comedian Joe Pasquale as he returns to Bradford with his new show Kak Raider on June 26.

n A taste of Nashville will be coming to Keighley next month as part of this year's festival. Highly respected local Country & Western group the Haley's will be making sure folk have a bootscootin' night at Victoria Hall on Friday, June 21 from 7-11pm.

The Wilsden band, featuring Jo Ann on bass, Becky on rhythm and lead guitars and Brian on lead guitar will also be joined by Cath Dearden for the evening of music and dance.

n The man revered as the world's first Reggae poet lands in Hebden Bridge this week to perform at the Picture House. Linton Kwesi Johnson will be supported by Wild Ginger during his Sunday performance at 8.00.
