AUSTRALIAN Grant Lindsay has brought some sparkling form back to Steeton on his return to the club.

He has already clocked up 259 runs in just three innings' and stroked his way to 87 against Collingham last weekend.

He was backed up by a half century from Robert Wynn, a knock of 45 from Gary Boulton and 27 from Oliver Gledhill as the Summerhill Lane side reached 284.

Lindsay then took 3-46 and Chris Taylor 4-24 as Collingham dug in for the long haul. Matthew Cooke scored a stubborn 88 for the visitors as they clung on with nine wickets down to deny Steeton maximum points.

Silsden were also left to hold out for a draw after Illingworth set a target of 167-5 in their Division B match. Chris Thornton led the reply with 30, but they held out to close on 128-8.

Martin Beattie was star of the show as Harden secured a five wicket victory over Ben Rhydding in Division C.

He took seven wickets for 25 runs as the visitors were shot out for 77.

Andy Moulds scored 31 as harden cruised to victory with five wickets down.
