Cleckheaton's cup dream lasted just 119 minutes as they crashed out of the Priestley Cup with a humiliating defeat.

They were bowled out for just 37 in 17 overs by a rampant East Bierley attack as overseas paceman Jaffer Nazir took a splendid six wickets for just ten runs.

Nazir then came in as a pinch-hitter, knocking up a quickfire 22, as Bierley raced to the total for two wickets in 21 minutes.

The game was wrapped up by 3.29pm - a full five hours before Gomersal and Bankfoot completed their run-fest.

Chris Schofield knocked up 127 as Gomersal put together 260 for seven in their 50 overs.

But an unbeaten century by Saleem Mughal (110no) helped Bankfoot to their total for the loss of five wickets.

They now face Pudsey St Lawrence who disposed of Bradford & Bingley.

The Division Two side put up 194 for nine, but St Lawrence proved too strong, putting together the required target with five wickets still in the hutch.

Undercliffe suffered their second narrow defeat of the weekend as Baildon squeezed through in defence of the cup.

Defeated with three balls to play on Saturday, Undercliffe racked up 235 for nine on their home track.

But Matthew Duce hit an outstanding unbeaten 81 as Baildon reached the big target with seven wickets down.

Despite a slow Joel Crouch 53, Keighley could manage only 143 before being dismissed by Hanging Heaton.

Steve Foster (78no) and Steve Bartle (51) managed 134 of those for the opening wicket and the total was reached with 22 overs still to come and nine wickets in hand.

Damon Gormley (65) and Neil Elvidge (80) posted their second big scores of the weekend but couldn't stop Yeadon losing again.

The 203 for eight total was surpassed as Spen Victoria's Tom Owen's (65) and Gazeeb Razak (69) hit splendidly as they raced to a six-wicket victory.

Mirfield disposed of Saltaire with a 70-run victory.

The visitors managed just 194 for seven in reply to Mirfield's 264 for five.
