Pupils of Myrtle Park First School, Bingley, have been presented with "Good Watermanship" certificates by the Yorkshire Water Authority. The children studied water and its uses and aspects of pollution in a project which included a visit to Scar House Reservoir.

Magistrates who, at Bradford annual music sessions today, granted eight applications to install television sets in hotels and public houses, were told by the Chief Constable ( Mr. H.S. Price ) that since their last annual session 105 similar licences had been granted. In his report, Mr. Price said 622 premises were licensed for music, singing and dancing or entertainment, and 42 had cinematograph licences.
