A Bradford restaurant boss is offering a meal for peace to help communities get together on the anniversary of the riots.
Javed Bashir, of the Balti Chef, Manor Row, wants to invite people from different backgrounds to discuss their differences and create racial harmony on July 7.
He said: "It was very disappointing that the peace march was cancelled. If we can't march for peace but we should at least be able to eat for peace.
Mr Bashir, pictured, said he had been left devastated by the riots and wanted to do something to bring communities together.
