Bradford Bulls' supporters have pledged to campaign to keep Odsal as the club's home ground.

Michaela Greaslem, chairman of Bisa, the Bradford Independent Supporters Association, told a meeting at Odsal Stadium last night, that it is still the first-choice venue for fans - if capacity could be maintained.

But she added that if the crowd capacity at Odsal is severely reduced because of health and safety reasons then the club would have to look at an alternative venue with Brad-ford City Football Club's Valley Parade stadium, or even Halifax, under consideration.

"We as supporters do not want that, and neither do the Bulls, but if the Council does not have an alternative for us that is where we will end up," she said. "What the fans want to see is that it is better and more enjoyable for us on match days.

"If we can't have our first choice venue - Odsal - let's make the only realistic alternative a better experience for us all."

People at the meeting voted unanimously by a show of hands to throw their support behind Bradford Bulls chairman Chris Caisley.

Rugby league legend Trevor Foster, who has been associated with the club since 1938, was installed as honorary president of Bisa at the meeting.

He was presented with a certificate of appreciation in recognition of his outstanding contribution and service to the club.
