It has also been a triumphant week for parents of Bramhope children wanting to get into Prince Henrys Grammar School, Otley.
Eight chil-dren of the village's primary school were denied places, but after the efforts of their parents and the backing of the village and councillors they have now got into the school.
The parents say it has been a nightmare few months, but at least now they can enjoy what's left of the summer.
