Bulls boss Brian Noble today took a sideswipe at the critics who have rounded on his side and declared: "We don't want to be known as good losers".

Two successive defeats have prompted some pundits to write off the Bulls' faltering Minor Premier challenge.

And the temperament of Bradford's players has been questioned after big defeats against Saints and Castleford.

But Noble rubbished the suggestion his star-studded outfit were 'bad losers'. "We certainly don't enjoy getting beaten twice in a row but I don't know how these people know we are bad losers because we very rarely get beaten," he said.

"But we certainly don't want to get the tag of being good losers either. In the last two games we have been beaten fair and square and I can't imagine what either my players or I have said that contradicts that.

"We are all winners at this club and it is now a question of how we respond to it."

Noble claimed the Bulls had become the target for some "unfair criticism", but stressed his players were determined to prove themselves on the pitch - starting Sunday's clash with London Broncos.

"The pressure comes because we are champions," he said. "Every game is tougher than last year because we are the league and world champions and everyone wants to knock us down - but it should mean we go into every game with confidence."
