Michael Withers knows that only an 80-minute display by Bradford Bulls against Hull in their final league match of the season will suffice.

The 26-year-old Australian, who clinched a

25-24 victory at The Boulevard in July with a drop goal in the penultimate minute, said: "It is a very intimidating place to go, but I thought we dominated that game for 60 minutes.

"Then we made some errors and put ourselves under pressure, and in the end we were lucky to get out of jail."

The Bulls led 24-10 with 12 minutes to go, but then conceded 14 points in nine minutes to leave the scores tied.

Full back Withers added: "We are expecting the same this time around and are focusing on playing for the full 80 minutes.

"But we are confident of getting a positive result because we have been playing well lately."

But he warned: "We are not at our peak yet, although we are heading along the right road as we approach the play-offs."

While the Bulls, who are certain of finishing at least second, need a victory in their final league match to keep alive their hopes of retaining the Minor Premiership above St Helens, the match is also of crucial importance to the Airlie Birds.

They need a win to give themselves the best chance of climbing a place to fourth above Leeds Rhinos and guarantee a home tie against them in the play-offs next weekend.

Leeds are at Wigan in tonight's other Tetley's Super League clash.

The Bulls are almost certain to be without Leon Pryce, who suffered a hand injury during last Saturday's victory over Wigan.

And it is touch and go whether loose forward Mike Forshaw will be fit after a throat infection.

He is rated only 50-50, and there is also a major doubt about skipper Robbie Paul after a virus that confined him to bed for two days earlier this week.

It is Hull's last regular season Super League game at The Boulevard as they move to the nearby KC Stadium next season. However, it won't be Hull's last game at the ground as they face the New Zealand tourists there next month, apart from any match they might have at home in the play-offs.
