SPORTING organisations throughout the district have an opportunity learn more about how to raise money for theirclubs.
Keighley Voluntary Services and Keighley Area Panel have joined forces to host a 'Funding Roadshow' next month.
Any organisation will be able to drop in throughout the afternoon and evening on October 3 and meet representatives from the Lottery and other grant-making bodies face-to-face.
Among a host of organsations will be Sport England, The Community fund (the Lottery) the Joseph Rowntree Trust and Bradford Council.
"It will be an opportunity to drop in and talk to any of the organisations and see how they can help boost the local community. It is open to all organisations, and not just sporting bodies," said a spokesman for the organisers.
n There will also be a special meeting at 2.30pm for all the Community Centres, including centres which work with particular groups like Disabled People and the Children's Centre to talk to Bradford Council about how they will be funded after 'commissioning' is introduced.
