Cross Hills teenager Daniel Hinchcliffe has gained the highest examination award in accordion playing.
Two leading Russian accordionists were on hand to present Daniel with his LBCA Diploma.
Nikolai and Iliya Ryskov were performing in Skipton as guests of Daniel's father Harry, who teaches the accordion.
Daniel and his twin brother Paul have worked their way through the examination grades since taking up the accordion at the age of nine.
In 1999, at the age of 17, they topped several years of competition success by winning the British Accordion Championships.
As a solo player, Daniel has won competition classes in all grades from preparatory to advanced.
He has been studying for his LBCA diploma for the past three years, taking the three separate examinations over the past 18 months.
Daniel's father, who runs the Craven Music Centre, says the diploma is a fitting final chapter to Daniel's musical successes.
"Daniel is now establishing his own teaching, and has several promising juniors studying under him," he said.
