Steeton kept up their charge at the top of Division One with a 7-0 hammering of Dudley Hill Athletic.

The Summerhill Lane side are determined to gain promotion this season, after being denied by the slimmest of margins earlier this year.

Dudley Hill are propping up the division, but Steeton showed now mercy with Adam Whiteoak blasting home four goals .

Other strikes came from Adam Smith, Joe Rainsford and Steve Barker.

Silsden Reserves had the edge in their derby clash with Keighley Shamrocks Reserves. Andy Nelson scored a hat-trick and Alan Hunt added two more in their 5-2 victory. Alan Dykes scored both the Shamrocks' goals.

Steeton Reserves played out a 3-3 draw with Lower Hopton after letting their 2-1 half time lead slip away. Stuart Hudson and Aaron Holindrake were among the Steeton scorers, with Mark Hepworth, Richard Cleghorne and Mick Heslop scoring for Hopton.

n Keighley FA Cup holders Silsden disposed of West Lancashire League side Cross Hills, securing a 4-1 victory. Goals were scored by Mick Ward, Jimmy Spencer, Martin Maude and Gavin Finn.

n Keighley Juniors strengthened their lead at the top of Division 3A of the Bradford Sunday Alliance, beating White Swan 3-1. The win maintained their 100 per cent record in the league.

n Keighley Ladies lost 5-0 to Leeds University in the West Riding Women's Cup. The club has signed former Leeds United midfielder Sarah Paul who is due to make her debut against Kirklees at Marley on sunday, kick-off 2pm.

However, they will be without their regular goalkeeper anna Spragg who has been called up for training with the England Under-19 women's cricket squad.

Silsden Ladies got a bye in the first round of the cup and face a tough tie against Leeds United in the second round.
