An armed robber escaped with cash from a Keighley petrol station.
The man - brandishing a penknife - walked into the BP garage in Oakworth Road and demanded money from the till.
The cashier handed over a small amount of cash, which the attacker stuffed into a carrier bag before running off down Oakworth Road towards the town centre.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened at about 2pm on Thursday.
The cashier - a 42-year-old local man - was uninjured.
The suspect is described as white, 5ft 6in to 5ft 8in tall, very skinny with prominent cheek bones and dark hair. He was unshaven and untidy looking and was wearing a black woolly hat, a black baggy jumper and dark jeans, and scruffy shoes or trainers. He spoke with a local accent.
Anyone with information should contact Keighley Police on (01535) 617083.
