A pharmacist has set off on an adventure of a lifetime to raise money for the Marie Curie hospice in Bradford.
Pardeep Bains, of Eccleshill, Bradford, is trekking for ten days in Peru with a group of people from all over Britain. The 24-year-old, who works for Lloyds Chemists, has raised more than £2,000 for the hospice through sponsorship for the trip.
Camping supplies firm Snugpak, of Silsden, has given one of the sleeping bags it makes to make the trek as comfortable as possible.
Pardeep is pictured getting ready to set off on her marathon trek.
