A pay rise for Bradford Metropolitan District councillors was being discussed this afternoon by the Council's management committee. The committee was expected to keep to government pay guidelines and approve a ten per cent rise in the attendance allowances, which would give councillors 50p extra for a meeting of up to four hours, and an additional £1 for a longer meeting.
