When in November, 1955, these officials and Grocery Branch managers of the Keighley Industrial Co-operative Society Ltd visited the factories of the Co-operative Wholesale Society at Lowestoft, the occasion was commemorated with this formal group portrait intended for framing.

It has been supplied by Mr G S Lawson, of Ingrow Lane, Keighley, who remembers the names as follows:

Back row, from left to right: Swire Keighley, Stewart Nicholson, Billy Shackleton, Lawrence Britton, not known.

Middle row: George Greenwood, Fred Steele, Sam Driver, Ken Robinson, Stanley Walker, Irvine Lawson, Reuben Drake.

Bottom row: Archie Holdsworth, Walt Laughlin, Gill Dixon, Arthur Bailey, not known, Walt Emmott, Percy Snowden, Arthur Holdsworth, Raymond Aspinall.

Mr Lawson thinks the two he doesn't know may have been representatives of the CWS.
