Silsden Ladies were beaten 8-0 by Thorpe Ladies as they suffer an injury crisis.
The team have four players out until after Christmas, but started brightly and were camped in the Thorpe half, but the home side hit back with two breakaway goals.
The young Silsden side rallied, but were 4-0 down at half time. The second half saw much of the same with Thorpe making the best of their chances.
The club is looking for new players, who need to be 14-years-old or over and able to commit to training on Wednesday evenings at Steeton's FC ground.
Active Sport sessions at Oakbank Sport Centre are popular with Under-14s. Sessions are running every Wednesday 6-7pm.
n Keighley Ladies went down 5-3 to Doncaster Rovers Res in the second round of the Yorkshire Shield.
