Five more children who attend a nursery in Skipton have fallen victim to the deadly bug E-Coli.
It brings the number who have succumbed to the outbreak to 11 - ten children and one adult.
The nursery, Busy Bears, in Broughton Road, was closed on Wednesday when the infection - which can cause kidney failure - was uncovered.
The adult is the parent of one of the children.
Four of the children are in hospital, believed to be Airedale General Hospital at Steeton and St James's Hospital, Leeds.
A North Yorkshire Heath Protection Service spokesman, said: "One of the four is being treated for haemolytic uraemic syndrome, which affects the kidneys, and one child has fully recovered.
"About two thirds of the children and staff had been screened so it is possible that more cases will be identified."
