Five more wins will secure City's place in Division One, boss Nicky Law insisted today.
The Bantams are one of the hottest form teams as they pull clear of the relegation dogfight.
Law's men have won five of their last seven games and with home clashes to come against three of the sides below them, safety is in their own hands.
"We've got 17 games to go and only need to win five of them, which is less than one in three," said Law.
"But we've got a nine-point gap and if we can pick up another six from the next two against Wimbledon and Brighton it will make things a lot easier.
"Last year we got to Wimbledon three games from the end before we got the points to guarantee safety. This time hopefully we can beat that and I'm sure we can.
"It speaks volumes for everybody to go seven defeats on the trot and then turn it round like we have done to win five of the next seven.
"And if we can beat Brighton, Walsall and Sheffield Wednesday at home within the next five weeks then by the end of March we could be almost there."
Peter Atherton and Andy Gray are back from suspension at Selhurst Park but Simon Francis is banned.
Law added: "It's nice to have those players back having picked up a fantastic result. We've got options and it's a good problem to have."
