Robbie Paul has promised less talking more action this season.

The Bulls skipper has decided to follow the words of the King, believing the side should adopt the principles of Elvis Presley for Super League VIII.

"A little less conversation a little more action, please," said the Kiwi half back today.

"I think we should heed the words of Elvis and stick to playing rugby. This is a big season for us and I think we have a very good squad and we need to get out there on the pitch and show what we can do."

The Bulls are just a day away from their revenge clash with St Helens and are looking to maintain their record of never losing on Super League's opening day.

The coaches are playing down the revenge and rivalry aspects of the contest, expected to be a Knowsley Road sell-out, but Paul can't help himself.

When asked if tomorrow's clash with Saints is just a chance to pick up two points, he replied: "I'd love to say yes but the real answer, if I follow my heart, is no.

"Of course people are right to say it is just about the two points, but it is more than that.

"I would love it if we could put one over on them at the start of this campaign. What happened in the Grand Final will always be at the back of my mind. How can it not be?

"However much we pretend it isn't, this is a game against the team that beat us last year and there is a lot of rivalry between the two clubs, there is a lot of paper talk about the two clubs and there is a lot to prove for the two clubs."

But Paul believes that however much the hype, once the game begins then all that will go.

"Once you have a couple of tackles or a couple of runs under your belt, everything goes from your mind," said Paul.

"The adrenaline starts pumping and you just get so involved in the game that you can't think of anything else.

"We are ready for this match, we have a fully fit squad and Tevita (Vaikona) is back which is a big bonus. He was one of the best players in Super League in the first half of last season and we are looking forward to having him back and fit."
