A site at Dudley Hill, Bradford, is to be transformed into a new business park, it has been revealed.
The £1.9 million development in Knowles Lane, which used to be home to Asda, is set to be completed by July.
A number of companies are already talking to the developers, Headway plc, about occupying units at the 50,000 sqft site.
The building, which has been designed by Bradford-based Priest Woodward Associates, is being constructed by Bluestone plc.
Halifax-based Headway operates five managed business parks across the UK in Wakefield, Moreton in Marsh, Halifax, Bradford and Leeds.
Andrew Staniland, Headway's chief executive, said: We bought the former Asda superstore space about 18 months ago for £1.5 million. The firm already operates a 70,000 sq ft business park on the site, which was completed around a year ago."
Mr Staniland added: "We are absolutely delighted with this new venture as it's going to enhance the potential of the whole site which is already well occupied.
"The Dudley Hill offices and workspaces have proved very popular with our customers, and this new development adds more space and gives us further opportunities."
